About

Chemistry + Academic = Blog (Please note that the views in this blog are my own, original ramblings, and are not a reflection on any institution that I may be associated with.)

I am a lecturer in Physical and Inorganic Chemistry at Keele University in the United Kingdom.  Where’s Keele?  Well, it is about as far away from the seaside as you can get in the UK. It is near the city of Stoke-On-Trent, and a couple of hours from London by train.

I write when I have the time and energy, mainly here at Endless Possibilities, but usually manage to find the time to twitter.  In 2009 I was fortunate enough to take part in NESTA’s Crucible program, and record a Chemistry in it’s Element PodCast for Chemistry World on Platinum.
